Chase Harriers Dinner Dance & Presentation Evening 6th February
I would like to thank the staff of the St. Thomas Priory Golf Club again for there efforts in making our presentation evening a success. Everyone enjoyed the food the DJ that attended again this year played a great selection of records. Some of our members surprised me towards the end of the night when the drink started to take its toll. There dance moves have been recorded. Pictures will follow shortly and no doubt another club video will be produced of the more embarasing moments. Justified winners were awarded there trophies well done again to those winners. Remember to give me the results of any races that you do and maybe next year it could be your turn to recieve a trophy. Check out the Chase Gallery for the photos!
Heritage Trail 27th Feb
Anyone interested in walking the heritage trail from Rugeley to Cannock. There is a charge on the car park in Girton Rd. Meet at 9:30 station car park Girton Rd. Train to leave Cannock on the town side platform at 9:44am. Arrive Rugeley 10:04am. Shall leave Rugeley Trent Valley car park at 10:15am to begin the walk. You can bring your own food but a stop for short break at Marquis Drive visitor Centre for refreshments/toilets will be taken. The 10 mile finishes in Cannock town centre by the Witherspoons pub where again if you wish you can take refreshments. Or if you wish you can finish the walk by the station car park but it will be short of the 10 miles.
